Hi All,
This beautiful Prayersong has a pretty self-explanatory message, that is, “Gratitude is the way to go!” It makes us happy, it brings us joy, it reminds us just how darn lucky we are and how much wonderfulness is already in our lives!
This Prayersong is one way I say “thank you”, from the depths of my soul, to spirit. It came out of my own gratitude practice, and really reminds me of all the amazing beauty, joy and awesomeness that surrounds me each and every moment, if I would only open up to notice it all!
“Gratitude Song” is a slow, reverent and soothing piece, in the keys of C sharp major and D major. Here are the lyrics:
I am grateful,
Oh, so grateful,
For all the blessings in my life.
And I offer my deepest gratitude,
For all the blessings in my life.I am grateful,
Oh, so grateful,
For all the wonder in my life.
And I offer my deepest gratitude,
For all the wonder in my life.I am grateful,
Oh, so grateful,
For all the deep love in my life.
And I offer my deepest gratitude,
For all the deep love in my life.I am grateful,
Oh, so grateful,
For the prosperity in my life.
And I offer my deepest gratitude,
For the prosperity in my life.I am grateful,
Oh, so grateful,
For all the miracles in my life.
And I offer my deepest gratitude,
For all the miracles in my life.I am grateful,

My deepest Gratitude,

Hi Everyone,
This energizing Prayersong is one of several I co-created as a reminder that “God is my supply!” God is always there for us, no matter how things may look outwardly. This song is a fun, upbeat way to renew our hope, confidence and certainty that God will provide for us, always and in all ways.
This Prayersong definitely has some Jazz leanings. It’s up-tempo, exciting and in B flat major. It’s also one of the Prayersongs I’d encourage you to sing along with; there’s such power in the spoken (or in this case, the sung) word! There’s also a really fun “fill in the blank” section in this one! Here are the lyrics:
God is my supply, and God fills me up.
God knows my every need, and God fills my cup.Fills my cup with abundance!
Fills my cup with prosperity!
Fills my cup with joy and bliss!
And with serenity!I am overflowing, with the abundance of God!
I am overflowing, with the serenity of God!I am open!
I am ready!
And I receive!God is my supply, and God fills me up.
God knows my every need, and God fills my cup.Fills my cup with inspiration!
Fills my cup with happiness!
Fills my cup with vibrant health!
And I know that I am blessed!I am overflowing, with the inspiration of God!
I am overflowing, with the vibrant health of God!I am open!
I am ready!
And I receive!*Spoken* All right, here comes the last verse, and when we get to the part about God filling your cup, you get to fill in the blank. So I encourage you to sing, either in your heart or out loud.
God is my supply, and God fills me up.
God knows my every need, and God fills my cup.Fills my cup with…
Fills my cup with…
Fills my cup with…I am overflowing, with the abundant blessings of God!
I am overflowing, with the peace and love of God!I am open!
I am ready!
I am receptive!
I believe, I believe, I believe!I am open!
I am ready!
I am willing!
Oh so willing!
And I receive!
Yes!

Hi Everyone,
This Prayersong came about because of a beloved friend of mine who was experiencing an intense period of grief. Her loved one had recently transitioned, and my friend was exceedingly close to this dear one, whom I also knew and loved. Now, my friend and I live on opposite sides of the Atlantic, and I was feeling so sad that I couldn’t be there with her to give her my love and support in person. This Prayersong came about through that deep desire within my heart.
This is a gentle, soothing piece with a slow tempo, and is in the key of C major. Here are the lyrics:
I hope that you know how much I love you.
I hope that you know how much I care.
I hope you can feel my love surround you.
Oh, how I wish that I was there…
To put my arms around you, and tell you that I love you.
To hold you.
To support you.
To say, “I’m thinking of you.”But since I’m far away, I will hold you in my heart.
Close within my heart.
And send to you my love,
And since I’m far away, and physically can’t be there,
I send my love,
And I send my prayers.I call to God to hold you,
Close to the heart.
To send you sweet comfort,
And love,
And peace,
And nurturing. Please know how much I love you.
Please know how much I care.
I send my love to surround and support,
And hold you, since I can’t be there.
And I send the comfort of God to you,
Through my love,
And through my prayers.I hold you in my heart.
I hold you in my love.
I hold you in my heart,
And in my prayers.

Hi Everyone,
This was another Prayersong that came about prior to the name “Prayersong” being given to me. This Prayersong came about through my own longing to experience an even greater connection with the God of my understanding, and greater security, comfort, prosperity and joy in my life. In order to experience “more”, be it love, abundance, healing, etc, we must first *know* that we deserve it! Why? Well, because we are beloved creations of a loving God!
So “The Deserving Prayer” was a singable reminder to myself and others, first and foremost, of that message. It has a very Celtic feel to it, and a rather haunting, beautiful melody. It is in the rather unlikely key of C sharp minor!
Here are the lyrics:
I deserve to be loved.
I deserve to be cherished.
I deserve to be treasured, and treated with care.
I deserve to be loved.
I deserve to be cherished.
For I am a child of God.By God, I am loved.
By God, I am cherished.
By God, I am treasured, and treated with care.
By God, I am loved.
By God, I am cherished.
For I am a beloved child of God.I love myself.
I cherish myself.
I treasure myself, and treat myself with care.
I love myself.
I cherish myself.
For I am a child of God.I deserve to be loved.
I deserve to be cherished.
I deserve to be treasured, and treated with care.
I deserve to be loved.
I deserve to be cherished.
For I am a beloved child of God.
Some powerful ways that you can utilize this Prayersong in your life include:

- Use during your prayer and meditation time.
- Use it when you wish to open up to more of the good that constantly awaits you.
- Play it in the background while working and / or going about your day. Even with the volume turned completely down, the powerful energies contained in this Prayersong will still be transmitted!
- There are many more wonderful ways to utilize this powerful Prayersong! I’d love to hear how you use it, or intend to use it, to enhance your life, if you’d like to share!

Hi Everyone,
This was another Prayersong that came into being before there was a term for the pieces. I wrote it after spending time in prayer, when I had a full, deep and profound recognition of God’s presence in every moment of my life. The peaceful stillness and loving energies infused in this Prayersong invite us to completely experience the great love that God is showering upon us.
“The Arms of Love” is in the key of B major, and is slow, gentle and tranquil. Here are the lyrics:
Peace fills my soul, and I am serene.
Peace fills my soul, and I am serene.
Peace fills my soul, and I am serene.
And I rest in the arms of love.Joy fills my soul, and I am serene.
Joy fills my soul, and I am serene.
Joy fills my soul, and I am serene.
And I rest in the arms of love.Love fills my soul, and I am fulfilled.
Love fills my soul, and I am fulfilled.
Love fills my soul, and I am fulfilled.
And I rest,
Yes, I rest,
In the arms of love.

- Use it to assist you in reducing stress, anxiety and fear.

Hi Everyone,
“Freedom from Fear” was the first Prayersong that I ever wrote, although, at the time, I didn’t know it was a Prayersong, and had no idea of the impact it would have in the creation of future Prayersongs!
I wrote and recorded this piece after some very intense coaching I had which helped me to free myself from some deeply wounding past events that had continued to haunt me for years. After this coaching work, and a period of honoring my anger, and then my grief, deep release and self-forgiveness, I wrote “Freedom from Fear” as part of my healing journey. After releasing this burden of past trauma, I was able to become more aware of the depth of God’s love for me, and bask in that love. That love moved me to create the lyrics to this Prayersong.
“Freedom from Fear” is a mid-tempo piece in the key of C major. It includes deeply healing, soothing and comforting energies, and great love exudes from this piece. Like all Prayersongs, it is filled with deep emotion and passion.
Here are the lyrics:
I am washed free from fear by your love.
I am cleansed through and through by your grace.
And I feel oh so free,
As you sweetly sing to me.
And I bask in the glory of your love,
Oh, yes.
And I bask in the glory of your love.I am wrapped, safe and warm, in your love.
I am cradled, secure in your love.
And I feel so complete,
As I rest here in your arms.
And I bask in the radiance of your love,
Oh, yes.
And I bask in the radiance of your love. There is nothing at all but your love.
There is only your infinite love.
I surrender with joy!
And I give you all my trust!
And I bask in your everlasting love,
Oh, yes!
And I bask in your everlasting love.
Here are a few ways to use “Freedom from Fear” in your daily life.
- Use it in times of stress, anxiety and fear, to bring you comfort, love and peace, and the knowledge that you are not alone
- Use it during your prayer and / or meditation time, to instill calm, serenity and loving energies within your space and within your heart
- When you’re feeling uncertain, nervous or depressed, this song can help to bring you hope, tranquility and confidence
- While working and / or going through your day, use this piece with the volume on low to transmit the beautiful, peaceful energies throughout your space and into your heart. The energies will be transmitted even if you can’t hear the singing!
- Many more creative uses not mentioned here. I’d love to hear how you use or will be using this piece, if you’d like to share!
Ironically, for years, I offered the original version of “Freedom from Fear” on my website. This is the same recording, as I wanted to keep the deeply nurturing, loving energies that came through in the piece in tact. However, it has been enhanced by some noise reduction and reverb.
This is one of the complementary Prayersongs that you can download if you to join my Prayersongs mailing list! I offer it as my gift of love, from my heart to yours.
I hope this Prayersong brings comfort to your heart and peace to your spirit!
Love and Blessings,
Kim
Prayersong, “From a Space of Openness” July 3, 2011

Hi Everyone,
Each Prayersong I write, (other than custom Prayersongs) will have it’s own post here in my blog. Each post will contain info on the piece, including it’s particular style / genre, lyrics, and ways it can be used to enhance and uplift your life and the lives of those you love.
“From a Space of Openness” is very close to my heart, because it was the first Prayersong that was actually *called* a Prayersong. I was thinking about how in order to hear God’s voice at it’s clearest, and to most deeply *feel* God working in our lives, we can’t beg, plead and cry out from a place of deep fear and desperation. We must empty out all distressing, upsetting and stressful emotions, because they aren’t serving us. They’re dragging us down, and keeping us from experiencing the loving guidance from Spirit. This Prayersong helps us to come to God from a space of openness, emptiness and love, and receive clear guidance from Creator.
This song also reminds us that we are worthy to receive God’s blessings, peace and guidance because we are part of God, and hold a bright spark of God within our own hearts. God is omni-present, around us, beside us, within us… everywhere at all times and in all circumstances.
This Prayersong is in the key of D minor, and, like many of my Prayersongs, sounds quite a bit like a Celtic ballad in it’s melody and feel. If you like Celtic music, you may find that you’ll resonate with many Prayersongs, as many of their melodies are highly influenced by Scottish and Irish traditional music.
Here are the lyrics:
From a space of emptiness, I pray.
From a space of emptiness, I open my heart.
From a space of emptiness, I let go and surrender all thought.
From a space of emptiness, I pray,
I pray,
I pray.From a space of openness, I pray.
From a space of openness, I let love come through me.
I let love pour through me!
Infinite love,
Infinite peace,
Infinite knowing of my Divinity!
From a space of openness, I let your love,
Course through my heart,
Course through my soul,
Making me whole!
From a place of openness, I pray. From a space of love,
From a space of joy,
From a space of infinite possibility,
I am ready!
I am willing!
I am the vessel!
Speak through me!
I am willing!
I am open!
I am the conduit!
Speak through me!From a space of emptiness, I pray.
I open my heart, and I believe.
From a space of emptiness, I recognize my Divinity.
From a space of emptiness, I open,
I open,
I open, to receive!
Some possible uses for this particular Prayersong include:
